PERMALUX as an example of successful company ownership succession
The Lübeck Chamber of Industry and Commerce has launched a campaign on the important topic of company succession. PERMALUX is one of three companies that show how successful succession can work. We are very proud of this.
The Lübeck Chamber of Industry and Commerce writes on the subject:
Around 7,000 companies in our chamber district will be facing a handover in the next ten years. 😲 With our #takeoverinsteadofstartingup campaign, we are addressing this topic and highlighting successful business successions in the Hansebelt. The transferees, who generally do not come from entrepreneurial families, describe their journey from the initial idea to completion. But the transferors also take centre stage once again and report on the process from their perspective. And we can already give it away: It will be emotional! 😢
With this campaign, we want to make this type of business start-up appealing to young managers. ‘The authentic stories demonstrate how attractive business succession is from the perspective of those taking over. They are intended to encourage people to take this path as well,’ says Managing Director Lars Schöning. A succession is a secure foundation, because a business model, employees with expertise, customers and infrastructure are usually already in place, as our Deputy Managing Director Nils Thoralf Jarck also knows: ‘The successors can get started right away.’ 💪🏽
