23.09.2026 Emergency power systems
Official Inauguration of the NEA in Quickborn
An important component of local civil protection was officially handed over to the fire department by the mayor of Quickborn: The previous 100-kVA emergency power system was replaced by a modern, permanently installed 250-kVA emergency power generator. The generator is housed in a 30-foot container and ensures power to the fire station and the new police station for up to 72 hours in the event of a power outage.
This not only modernized the existing emergency power supply from a technical standpoint but also significantly increased the available power—ensuring a reliable supply and maintaining the operational readiness of the fire department and police.
This project demonstrates how important modern and reliable emergency power supply is for our critical infrastructure.
